A federal judge granted Mike Mikha Nagara immediate compassionate release after the Bureau of Prisons (BOP) itself filed the motion asking for his release. He has a terminal illness and was expected to live less than 18 months.

Mr. Nagara will serve 3 years on supervised release (supervision by a probation officer after prison).
